Katie MaloneyA modest romance with the guitarist of Sleeping With Sirens Nick Martin was enchanted Vanderpump Rules fans since she first opened up about their relationship.
During an October 2024 episode of her podcast Disrespectfully, Maloney surprised listeners r.revealing her new relationship status.
“I have a boyfriend,” Maloney told her co-host Daina Kathan. “Yes, I’m in love, everyone. I’m really happy.”
Maloney decided not to name her significant other at the time, but added: “He’s the most wonderful person I’ve ever met. He’s very kind and he just makes me feel really special, he’s really special and, yeah, I’m really happy.”
When viewers were introduced to the staff at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant during the 2013 premiere of Vanderpump Rules, it was clear that they were all intertwined in each other’s love lives. Later that month, Maloney’s Vanderpump Rules costar Scheana Shay confirmed the speculation that Martin he was a mysterious man.
“There’s been some stuff online recently. I saw little pieces. But let me tell you, it couldn’t have been nicer,” Shai shared on her podcast. “He’s from San Diego and we were just talking about it. Then I ran into them again later at the hotel at the end of the night, and (he) was just a really sweet guy. I caught the end of their set.”
Maloney has since shared more photos of her romance with Martin, which is coming up on two years after her separation from Tom Schwartz. The former couple was married for six years before divorcing in 2022. Schwartz, for his part, moved on with Sofia almost.

“I went to see my boyfriend this weekend. He has to travel for work, so I went to meet him and hang out with him and spend some time,” Maloney shared on her “Disrespect” podcast, addressing her relationship for the first time. “It was really amazing because I hadn’t seen him for a few weeks and to be able to spend some quality time and be around him was really necessary and really nice.”

In response to a fan question, Maloney’s partner Shay confirmed that she had met Martin.
“We were all by the artist trailers in the gathering area (at one event) and he and Katie were walking around while I was standing at the taco truck in line getting food. I said hello to her,” Shai recalled on her “Scheananigans” podcast. “She introduced me to her boyfriend.”
Shay continued: “We actually left Fall Out Boi a little early because they were playing at the same time. But I wanted to watch Sleeping With Mermaids. I wanted to see what the band was about. They were really good.”

Lala Kent he joked about Shay blowing up Maloney’s placeshares on an episode of her podcast “Give Them Lala,” “Sheana Shay was the one who confirmed Katie Maloney’s relationship. She told me, “I confirmed it by accident.”
Kent mocked “cheeky” Shay for discussing Maloney’s romance on a public platform. “(Katie and Nick) haven’t confirmed (their relationship) because what I’ve read is that he’s going through a messy divorce and they have to keep it quiet,” she claimed.
While some things never change, the Vanderpump Rules cast is used to change … and change. Schwartz showed his support for Maloney, speaking Page Six he was “so happy” for her and Martin.
“I haven’t met her new man, but I’m so happy for her,” he said. “I mean it, I like to see her happy.”
Schwartz also offered an update on his dynamic with Maloney, explaining, “We’re friends. We’re not best friends — I don’t want to exaggerate, but we’re cool. We are in a good place. We are friends again. There is no friction or tension.”

Maloney took to Instagram to celebrate Martin’s special day, writing: “Happy birthday my ❤!!!!!” The social media upload included a sweet photo of Maloney looking at the Sleeping With Sirens guitarist, the first time Maloney has publicly acknowledged the romance since sparking the rumors two months ago.
