The owners of the houses loved the appearance of a blendous natural stone floor. Since they also wanted low maintenance, the designer managed them according to porcelain. “Like someone with a coached eye, I can usually tell the difference between natural stone and porcelain, but in this case I really can’t,” she says. “We used a wide range of colors in tiles and they have texture them. They are still a small faux chips. Also, the texture is resistant to skating.” Bulla had tiles laid in the classic coin pattern.
The wall color, Label of Benjamin Moore, is shadow of bull tested in their own home. “Before I used it, I did a bunch of blind color color tests and I chose this color this color,” she says. “It’s really nice warm neutral that doesn’t rely too much beige. And it looks so nice next to a white lining.” White color is Benjamin Moore simply white.
