Tips for traveling to Seville, Spain

If you are planning a trip to Sevilla, I circle my upper tips depending on your city on a short trip, longer stays and some things I want to know.

Hi friends! I hope you have a wonderful week so far! This is the last message in my travel series (we did Cruise Spain, Italy and France + Time in Barcelona and Four weeks in Seville) And things will return here to our regularly scheduled programming. You know, until I plan my next subtracted trip lol.

Today I wanted to share some things I learned about Sevilly: Things to know, favorite restaurants / spots and tips I had to learn in a hard way. I broke it in two segments; First it is if you plan a short trip (per week or something) and for longer travel (3-4+ weeks).

Tips for traveling to Seville, Spain

Short trip:

Language:

If you travel to Spain, I think that is absolutely worth learning the key phrases you will use. This book is extremely useful and I recommend and work with a teacher if possible. Josep is my current tutor And he is amazing! While I discovered that many people in Spain know English, many do not. It is worth at least to get away where you want to go to the taxi, how to order food and drink, ask for an account, ask where the bathrooms are, make a decent conversation, etc.

It would also be to note that in Seville, it will use condensed versions of the phrase, which is casual and fun:

– Por Favori (please) = Porfa (I didn’t use this personally because they feel cute but definitely heard)

– See you later (see you late) = and then

– Good morning (good morning) = good (but you can say good everyday instead of Hola hello)

– Gracias (thanks) = Gracia

Also expect to hear and use “Vale” a lot. It can be in agreement, okay, do you understand? (Vale?), Are you ready? (Vale?), I’m ready (son, Vale), let’s go (Vale!) Etc.

Wear comfortable shoesRecording!

There are a lot of walking, which is one of my favorite things. I like to explore new places on foot 🙂 The streets are cobblestones, and sometimes uneven, so stay away from Pete. Sweet sneakers and sandals are always a good choice. You can replace with remote sandals or espadrille for dinner. I live in Vejas when we are in Europe!

Air conditioning

AC is rare, even in restaurants and stores. Get a cute fan and you’ll be entitled! Since we are from AZ and I love hot yoga, the heat did not bother me at all, but the kids melted. We ended up in Alehop to get a face master and door fan.

Reservations:

Book any handle and tickets in advance.

Some of my favorite spots:

Royal Alcazar

Flemski Dance Museum

Mushrooms

Plaza Espana

Triana Market

Cathedral

Flamenko on mushrooms, memory house or Cabeneria (bar with Impromptu Flamenco performances)

Restaurants

Dining tips:

– If you want water, be sure to determine if you want Agua con gas (bright) or natural (though).

– Cafes will often ask if the money is aqua (to eat there) or para Llevar (to leave). Although it is not a big deal for less stains, some restaurants do not offer meals or will be charged to download supplies – just something to consider. Launch boxes After meals are not so common, so you have to ask and expect to pay a little (.50-1 euro) for outsetting.

– Rumping is still not expected here, but appreciated. My friend in Barcelona said the advice of euros or two if you feel like the service was great / above and beyond.

– Order the Tinto de Verano instead of Sangria. It’s less sweet and super well and refreshing. Also, I highly recommend that you get a bottle of Albarino wine.

– Paella is more often lunch food, not food for dinner. 😉

Our Top Restaurants in Sevilly:

– Mokambo for lunch

– Alfalfa 8 for cocktails and dinner

-Store for cocktails and dinner

– El Rinconcillo for lunch or dinner

– Maria Trilfulca for a romantic dinner

– Canabota (incredible experience of Michelin Star we enjoyed)

– Chok Gluten-No Bakery

– Almazen – Cute Little Confice

Longer travel:

Since we were in Sevilly for four weeks, we had to experience what could be * live * there a little, with lots of groceries, cooking, and not feel like we were in a hurry in a hurry.

Tips for grocery shopping:

We have finished the grocery store, because summer, and children enjoy a ton, but also that we can see what fresh and good. When we are out of the city (especially for longer travel) we try to eat a maximum of 1k daily (maybe a snack or ice cream), because it can become very expensive and we don’t feel the best with 100% restaurants.

Also, the vegetables are somehow small in restaurants here. It is not the norm to go to restaurants and look at a lot of vegetables or salads on the menu. I tried to just enjoy and cook in Airbnb if I could, just to enter some extra nutrients and fibers.

Products Purchase:

You must wear gloves to touch any products and place the products in the production bag. Once inserts, take it to a nearby food scale to measure it. On the screen you will find products, press the button, and drinks the bar code to attach to the production bag.

Bring your bags.

They have available bags, but you have to pay them and easier it is just to kill several bottlenecks in your baggage to use as a beach, pool and food bags.

Some of our staples:

Fruits

Vegetables and hummus or guaca-immersion

Picos without gluten and nutella

Refrigerator Prepared Spanish Tortilla (SOOOO good)

Yogurts

Eggs

Chips and bars

Peanut butter on toast with berries or banana

I brought and Daily diet support and They find From home so I could mix those two for protein pudding topped with berries, bar or peanut butter

Laundry:

We usually plan to work laundry if possible when traveling because then we don’t have to pack so much! I bring a small bowl of home. (I use a Roša brand from the processing market.)

It is valuable to mention here that dryers are not so common in Spain. You cancel your clothes outside. To be honest, I actually love this. The sun dried so quickly and feel so fresh and clean! The only bummer is that the towels have little crispy 😉 our airbnb had a washing machine and a drying rack to pull on the roof to dry clothes.

Krivop ended for a while locked, so I dried them in the living room on the drying rack:

Airbnb:

If you stay longer, I definitely recommend that I find a place with AC (valuable in summer) and paved paved or somewhere to cool outside. This was my only regret with our Airbnb. It was very sweet, but very little because I would realize that we would be most of the time. We have finished a lot of time there and I wish I had a little backyard or Somde to cool outside as the girls slept or relaxed in the AC.

Trash + recycling:

It’s different from states! Most places have garbage location in a neighborhood in which you will discard garbage and sort recycling. It always impresses me with recycling here with glass bin, pastilla, paper / cards, food residues and stuff.

Bathrooms:

It’s worth here that you can’t wash any toilet paper down on most toilets in Seville. There is usually a large garbage next to the toilet paper or anything, you need to throw. Pipes are very old and can be easily clogged. Sometimes public restrooms do not have toilet paper, so it is useful to have tissue package and hand disinfectant In the purse.

Random:

– Eat Jamona. I never eat pork in the states, but you can bet your prey, pretty much I have Jadon every day we are in Spain.

– Get apartments in Flabelus !! (heads up, they run small. I usually 38 and size up to 39)

– Look at the peace of peace for Super InepxNsive but very cute jewelry

– Get some of the chocolate bons and turron in chocolate stores.

– buy some of The best olive oil (If you could actually order Amazon, but still!)

-Order Carrillada (pork cheek with red wine sauce … to Dieeeeee)

– Take a walk Triani to view all handmade ceramics!

Okay, I think that’s most of my tips … for now !!

If you go to Seville, you have the best time. It is really a magical place with beautiful culture, super friendly people, amazing food and beautiful sights. You will go.

Ok, friends: What is currently on your travel list? Is Ani Seville Rent to Adding?
