The Voice has been wowing viewers with incredible talent across the United States for years, crowning 25 winners since the premiere in 2011.
During the 19th season of the NBC singing competition, the New York native Carter Rubin blew the audience away with his singing abilities and video coach Gwen Stefani secured her first victory. At just 15 years old, Rubin undoubtedly has a long career ahead of him, but he didn’t want to wait a second to start living his dream.
“Well, Gwen encouraged me to start writing music, and that’s definitely what I plan to do,” he said TV Insider in December 2020 “I have some songs in a folder that I want to record. I definitely want to get in the studio and start playing music for people to hear, and then when the COVID is over, I want to get back to performing in front of a live audience.”
Rubin is among the youngest people ever to win The Voicetogether with Danielle Bradbury and Brynn Cartelli. Bradbury won in 2013, while Cartelli took first place in the 2018 competition.
