So Manon Delafoi was attracted to transform a former Thai restaurant in new Java SpotShe had a completely different concept. Designer, known in spaces that show clean lines and natural shades, a serial escape from hectic Paris is envisaged. “I wanted to create a calm, quiet place in a city that was contrary to the crowded, basic cafe,” says Delafoi.
The studio was in charge of renewing the restaurant space located at 8. Ambulance. Ultra compact dishes, only 322 square feet, was reacted. The decorated outdated ends and marked by a vague graphic identity, the complete overhaul started giving new Olisse The call site to have drinks or baked goods from cafine.

They surprise equipping, such as a banquet sitting in the dining area, maximizes functionality while optimizing all available floor spaces.
At the heart of the cafe, at least it is more than a piece on top that shows freshly baked pastry. The sculptural center is characteristic of its three polished concrete shades. The refined joint effect reminds the sand movement, which immediately attracts the eye and resonate other wavy motifs in establishing.
Chamotte Stenevars and plaster fasteners have raw, organic complaint. 20 metal tablets and metal taps have an elevated look, but also easily clean – must have in a high touchpoint environment. Local manufacturer’s work is shown, with ceramic facilities plus wall art Dorothee Picard and Anja Fontaine. Small limited oil oils from Marina Echavidre have geometry in earthen brown, Sienna and moss. These geometrics are adorned with walls, and their polded earthy color mixed with the rest of the palette.
By pairing various elements, Delafoi’s design offers the setting that resonates with customers, the one that will surely return. “Wood, natural tones and organic forms feel familiar,” she notes. “I wanted to give a little comfort, but in a modern way.”
