Wildgrain understands and sends a monthly drop of expertly baked sourdough, multigrain, baguettes, croissants and fresh pasta made by a network of artisan and partner bakers to the carnivore on your list. Breads and pastries come pre-baked and frozen with special instructions to reheat them in the oven – no defrosting required.
Most of the hot bread in my box turned out better than what is available at your typical grocery store because it sat for hours or longer. If you’re looking for truly freshly baked bread, Wildgrain is the best way to avoid camping outside your local bakery when it opens.
Cost: Boxes range from $69 to $109 (shipping included) and include as many as three loaves of bread, two boxes of pasta, four pastries and 10 small desserts like apple pie bites or tartlets.
