Taylor Swift talks about Travis Kelce, bosses during a hospital visit

Taylor Swift connected to the sick children at Children’s Hospital in Kansas City through the Chiefs, and of course, her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

“I like Travis now,” the tot told Swift, 35, during a hospital stay on Thursday, Dec. 12, according to a fan video shares through Ks.

Swift didn’t skip a beat as she signed the copy her Eras Tour book for the patient, answering: “Yes, me too.” It’s an absolute yes to that.”

The Grammy winner asked if the Chiefs tight end was the kid’s “favorite player,” to which the youngster replied, “Yes. Either (him) or Patrick,” referring to the team’s quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.

“Good. These are good answers,” Swift said with a smile. “You handle this!”

Swift returned to the US after her conclusion Eras Tour on Sunday, December 8. While she became the head of Kelce’s NFL games since they started dating in the summer of 2023, this time Swift made an additional stop in Kansas City and away from the football field.

According to social media posts from Mercy Children’s Hospital workers and patients’ families, Swift visited the site Thursday to speak with pediatric patients and lift their spirits.

“This morning on Bailey’s day 6 in the hospital, we had the sweetest, most unexpected surprise ever.. (with about 2 minutes warning)” Melissa Nuzummother of one of the children, he wrote via Facebook. “TAYLOR SWIFT came to visit the eager kids today and Bailey was chosen because she requests Taylor songs during her uncomfortable procedures!”

The woman shared photos of Swift making silly faces with her daughter and spending time in her room. “Yes, she is amazing! “On top of her sheer beauty, she was just as kind and gracious and down to earth,” she said. “She gave Bailey her signed copy Eras Tour book and accepted a gift from Bailey (a diamond art painting). We cheered all morning!”

Swift received several gifts from the children, according to social media, many of which were related to the Chiefs. One little boy showed Swift the blanket which featured various Chiefs insignia, including one square that read “Go Taylor Boy,” in honor of Kelce.

The “So High School” singer took the time to sing and dance with the children as he went from room to room taking pictures with them and their families.

“I’ll probably be back to bug you,” Swift told the nurses via video shared on Kswhich made everyone laugh. The staff then started shouting, “Happy birthday!” as she left the premises ahead of her 35th birthday on Friday 13 December.

Swift has been spreading joy for years after she set out to break the record Eras Tour in March 2023. (She has sold out 149 concerts on five continents, making it the highest-grossing tour of all time.)

Before she wrapped Eras TourSwift also brought joy to her crew, gifting them $197 million in bonuses during her nearly two-year tenure.

Us Weekly confirmed it bonus recipients they included truck drivers, caterers, instrument technicians, merchandising team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, riggers, hair, makeup, wardrobe, physical therapists and video crew.

Swift also made sure to thank her fans during her final bow on Sunday before sharing a series of photographs from an epic social media journey. “It was rare.” I was there. I remember that. ♥,” she captioned the post on Wednesday, Dec. 11, quoting her lines from “All’s Well.”

Kelce, meanwhile, missed Swift’s final performance because of his NFL schedule. He gushed his girlfriend’s success on Wednesday during his and his brother’s episode Jason Kelce‘s “New Heights” podcast.

“Greetings to everyone who was part of that show.” Obviously, it’s her music and her tour and everything, but it was a total production, man,” he said at the time. “That thing was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people, but mostly because of Taylor.”
