Many stars boasted that they were on the list from whom they would receive the coveted Christmas cake Tom Cruise.
During an appearance on The The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in November 2019, actress Cobie Smulders she revealed that she gets a wonderful holiday gift from Cruise every year.
Calling it “the most glorious time of the year,” Smulders explained that her partner in 2016. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back he sends her a coconut cake every Christmas. “I leave it in the freezer and it lasts until, like, March.” Like, I’m just slowly picking this thing apart. It’s so good,” she said. “I don’t know why.” I’m not even a big candy person, but it’s so good.”
Smulders was pleased to know that host Jimmy Fallon is also a member of the famous cake club. “It’s amazing,” he said of the white chocolate coconut confection.
Although Fallon has admitted to not having a sweet tooth, he also makes an exception for this treat, in part because of its celebrity connections. “It’s Tom Cruise,” he declared. “You get a cake, you get anything by Tom Cruise, you eat it, you put it in the freezer and you keep it for a year.” I hope to get a cake this year.”
As it turns out, Smulders and Fallon aren’t the only celebs who got a tasty dessert from Cruise. Far from it, in fact. Over the years, several of Cruise’s friends and former colleagues have spoken of his penchant for gifting the delicious cake, which originates from Doan’s Bakery in Woodland Hills, California.
