Selena Gomez and she fiance, producer Benny Blancothey officially announced their relationship via Instagram in December 2023.
“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” the “Wolves” singer wrote in a comment on Instagram at the time. “He was the best thing that ever happened to me.”
Hints about the couple’s relationship dropped on Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays TV especially when the pop star revealed she was dating right after taping the Dec. 21 episode. Gomez’s best friend and colleague, Raquelle Stevensannounced that Gomez would have a new man in time for 2024, to which Gomez replied, “Let’s hope so!”
She later confirmed that the two had been dating for “six months” and that she has openly shared many moments with the producer since then.

On December 7, the Rare Beauty creator confirmed her relationship with Blanco by commenting on “The Facts” on an Instagram post with the caption, “Selena Gomez seemingly confirms relationship with Benny Blanco.” The couple has been open and public with their relationship ever since.
Just a few days later, Gomez took to Instagram to preview the new Rare Beauty project, and Blanco commented using a heart-shaped emoticon. On Dec. 15, she shared a collage of photos with the caption, “New York, my favorite moments (with) you this week,” with the last snap capturing a kiss between the pair.

January 2024
The couple made their own first public appearance sitting courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game in early January. They were photographed hitting it off, sharing smiles and laughter as they were captured on the Jumbotron.
The Golden Globes were held a few days after the couple came out and Gomez was nominated for her role Just the murders in the building. Although she went home empty-handed, the actress signed her photo sitting on Blanco’s lap via her Instagram stories, “I won.”
May 2024
During the appearance on “The Howard Stern Show”, host Howard Stern said he “foresees marriage” in Blanco and Gomez’s future. “You and me both,” Blanco answered honestly.
When asked if he had a ring ready, Blanco joked, “I don’t have anything.” I have no shoes! I have to pull myself together.”
Earlier in the interview, Blanco noted that his “next goal” in life is to become a father. “I have a bunch of godfathers. I have a bunch of nephews. I love being with kids,” he said before going on to talk about his and Gomez’s romance.

On July 4, the actress shared a picture of her and Blanco spending Independence Day together on her Instagram story. In the photo, Gomez is sitting, wrapped in Blanco’s arms. Gomez is wearing a white dress and Blanco is in his own white outfit.
Blanco shared a few more snaps of Gomez via his story, showing the actress posing with a big smile, gold earrings and a white headband.

Gomez praised their relationship in a The Hollywood Reporterinterview, gushing that “this is the most secure (she’s) ever felt” in a relationship.
“I see a future with this person.” And when you put a little out there, people aren’t so hungry to hunt you down,” Gomez said. “Like, if they hear something, they will, but if you say, ‘I made it,’ they’re like, ‘Oh, there you are, just going to Sushi Park.’ But there are so many of my connections that people don’t see, that’s just mine.”
