Scandinavian Modern meets with a horse country in Minnesota

For this new upgrade on the Horse Minnesota farm, the design was all about the balance between the Scandinavian modern and sophisticated country styles. The owners of the houses are retired a couple that is inspired by a recent trip to Europe when they met the interior designer Emily Puelins.

“They returned really in Scandinavian modern style,” Puelger says. “Because this is a horse’s farm, they were also in Equestrian Ralph Lauren, which means that plaid patterns and colors are like a deep green, Burgundy and Brown. They also told me that they liked the feeling of Scottish agricultural vehicles. They wanted a sophisticated style, but because it’s a farm and they have a big dog, it is necessary to be practical and durable. At first I thought, “How I will do it all in the world?”
