Chelsea Lazkani is officially a single woman in the midst of a messy divorce from her estranged husband Jeff Lazkani.
A judge in California declared the exes single on Tuesday, Dec. 10, according to court documents obtained by him Us Weekly. The ruling comes a day after Chelsea, 31, and Jeff, 41, filed new documents agreeing to end their marital status as they continue to work out further details of their divorce.
U.S confirmed in March that Chelsea had filed to end her marriage to Jeff after seven years, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. At the time, Chelsea filed for spousal support and requested joint physical and legal custody of their two children, Maddock, 5, and Melia, 4.
The couple met on Tinder in 2015 and tied the knot two years later. Netflix fans were introduced to the pair when Chelsea joined the cast in season five Selling Sunset 2022. The couple’s breakup was documented in season 8 Selling Sunsetwhich premiered on Netflix in September. While an insider exclusively said U.S in November that Chelsea “wanted to end this marriage as soon as possible,” Jeff later claimed that his ex engaging in “delay tactics”. He said in legal documents earlier this month that Chelsea had asked to be named the sole beneficiary of the closed bank accounts and wanted compensation for tax liabilities despite filing separate taxes.
