Olivia Ponton she had a strange experience with a delivery driver just days before she was at the scene of a robbery at the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback’s home Joe Burrow.
Ponton, 22, posted the video via TikTok on Saturday, December 7 — just two days before Burrow’s home was burglarized — and gave a “PSA” to her more than 7 million followers.
“Never put your real name or your photo on Uber, Uber Eats, Lyft, DoorDash, any of that,” Ponton said. “Let this be your sign.” Actually, change it to a guy’s name. Jason, Jake, John. Anything. And just delete the photo. Let this be your fucking sign.”
The Sports Illustrated the model then explained why she called for precautionary measures.
“I was just shaking in my literal boots for 20 minutes,” Ponton said. “This man has not stopped knocking on my door.” In 20 minutes? I was like, ‘Aren’t you getting tired?’
She continued, “I was standing there. I didn’t know what to do. I was literally frozen. And he was covering his little belly with his bag, so I couldn’t even see who he was. I couldn’t compare the photo on Uber Eats to it.”
Ponton ominously ended the video by saying, “We’re not safe here.
It is not clear whether Ponton was at the home of Barrow, 28, in Ohio at the time of the incident or when she made the video. However, Ponton was at the home on Monday evening December 9th when she called 911 to report a burglary in the residence.
At the time of the break-in, Barrow and the Bengals were in Texas to face the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.
“Somebody broke into my house,” Ponton told the dispatcher. “It’s just, like, completely messed up.”
Ponton also reported the incident to her mother, Dianewho called 911 separately.
“Someone is trying to break into the house right now,” Ponton’s mother told the dispatcher. “My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She stays there. He’s at a football game.”
Ponton’s mother continued, “He’s wondering what to do, whether he should hide or come out.
Barrow and Ponton have never confirmed their relationship status, but rumors of a couple have been swirling since the summer. A police crime scene report said Ponton was “employed by Mr. Barrow.”
Us Weekly he contacted representatives of Buro and Ponton, but did not receive a response.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the robbery. No arrests have been made and no suspects have been named.
Barrow and the Bengals will hit the road again this weekend against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, December 15th.
