Nvidia is ramping up hiring in China to focus on artificial intelligence cars, Reuters reports

(Reuters) – Nvidia (NASDAQ: ) has added hundreds of employees in China this year to boost its research capabilities and focus on new autonomous driving technologies, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday.

Nvidia has added about 200 people in Beijing to bolster its team of researchers working on self-driving cars, the report said, citing people familiar with the company’s operations.
