Nottingham Forest plan to sign the £10m player on loan in the January transfer window ahead of Wolves.
The Reds continued their brilliant victory at Manchester United with a goal Premier League win against Aston Villa at the City Ground on Saturday night. Late goals by Nikola Milenkovic and Anthony Elanga sealed another three points for Nuno Espirito Santoon the side, with the manager praising his side after the game.
“It says a lot about character, especially after what happened in the game.” Both teams were very even in the first half; both very organized with no gaps. The fairy tried to control us and we tried to control them. We allowed possession to them, and they to us, but without threats – for both teams, except with set-pieces.
“The moment of the game was a great save by Martinez and then Villa went and scored. After that, the reaction from the players was incredible. The support from the fans was huge. Chris had a goal disallowed and the game could have been over, but it went the other way. The fans reacted, helped the team and the boys started running and running. We achieved a big moment for all of us.”
