When Nicki Gitlin was the trainee at Snkitecture She investigated objects and spaces on all scales, setting the foundations for their own work. With an emphasis on materiality and interplay of light, Gitlin was fascinated by the way elements could be layered and how they affected the individual’s experience in a particular environment.
As an architectural designer for the sports clothing brand theory, Gitlin was responsible for storage schedule and hardening development. The role was perfect suitable for this creative, which prices mod as a means of expression and art form is all its. “I love the way the clothes can shape how you feel like moving through the world – it’s a design at a more personal, immediate scale,” she says.

Even with a full schedule of the client meeting and site visit, Gitlin manages to expel the quality time from her computer and a mobile phone. 1. Finding Otis in the sun
No matter how busy it is my day, catching Otis stretched out in a warm spot of sunlight immediately slow me down. It has a way to remind me of a break, I breathe and enjoy simple comfort – something I’m trying to bring my work.

2. Custom Pant
Perfectly cut pants is my version of armor. It is polished, but without effort, and carries me through visits to the site, client meetings and late nights on my desk. The structure considers me, while the lightness allows me to move through the day feeling like it is the most important version of myself.

3. Daily planner
My daily planner is a place where large ideas live and tiny do-dos live side with shoulder. There is something foundation about putting a pencil on paper – to place the day and the busiest schedule feels manageable. It’s my way of the road, motivator, and sometimes my excuse to use a really good pencil.

4. Satin Scruchie
Excessive satin Skruchie is my I go to withdraw my hair without getting out of the moment. It’s practical, but it also feels a little conducive – soft, easy and chic.

5. Ice coffee in the cabin
Ice coffee in coffee is in progress my permanent companion, regardless of the season. There is something in the ritual – the kid’s ice, the first SIP – what time is that it’s time for things to move. It is equal to the fuel and comfort, keeping me hard through the early morning and late in the afternoon.

Coffee for coffee in coffee
For this hellish kitchen cafe, design draws from brand brands in supplying coffee directly from farmers worldwide. RAV, tactile materials – such as mortar, terracotta and patinated metal – echo the landscapes where beans are grown, creates a space that feels like a ground floor and authentic as coffee itself.

Soho Pied-A-Terre
This apartment of 400 square meters proves that small can still feel spacious. Each centimeter works hard as a side table, the radiator cover transforms in banquet and media console, all storage with concealment, which makes the space not feeling effortlessly.

The top west side
This private home, Cooperation with Studio ST, is based on timeless interiors of Alissa Capito and revived architecture that sends the character of the building while supporting the serene daily rythm of the building. Pointed detailed – plaster, generous natural light and sculptural millorwork – creates a layered backdrop where classical elegance meets comfort in comfort.

Collect Market and Spruce
In the heart of the lower east side, this project was more than designing cafes – it was in creating a series of pockets in which people could gather. From the bench window to intimate tables, it was to be encouraged to encourage the connection and encourages the feeling of community.

Midcenturi Modernize
My own home was the work of love – returning it to life while guarding the middle of the sign that drew me at first glance. The combination of warm wood, slate and clean lines makes them feel and exactly its roots and perfectly adjust how we live now.
