Our dining room is currently under construction, but fortunately, we planned for it! Study can be easily transformed into the dining room when needed –We did that beforeAnd we do it again this year.
A secret trick? “Table” is actually actually a dining roomtogether with the leaves to extend it! Even without leaves, it is comfortably seated six, and you can squeeze in eight with chairs at each end. It is great for a quick option if we want (or need) to use this room for dinner.
We held ancient chairs we used to have in the dining room above on the craft table around the landing, so it was easily crashed for it while our newer dining rooms are in the warehouse.

For this year’s table setting, I’m aim to feel an occasional, but special occasion feeling. I want to turn on various colors so I chose Yellow striped tablecloth with Ruffle– Departure from my usual pallet, but perfect for spring and Easter. I used a match Yellow striped slocked napkins that it stays a little more casual. I love relaxation of color, so it’s not a surprise that I like folds!
For the boards, I have my own Blue ported plates From Amazon, which I have loved for years. They are confident in the dishwasher and add an unexpected touch. I like the geometric railways of the tablecloths differ with the organic pattern of plates.
I love flowers, but for dinner, you don’t want anything distracting the conversation. So I created a faux floral runner down the middle of the table using purple and green flowers. This adds color without blocking one’s view.

Simple Silver candle felt fresh, and I keep the cones that are neutral Ivory candles.
For the glasses for the appetizer, I used my New cabbage from target (You can find similar here) and filled them Sahale nut– Dearest. Banana Rum is my favorite taste and just great daunting while guests are waiting to be served.
The stemware In fact, acrylic, making it family for Easter dinner (we constantly use them for “imaginative evenings” with our girls.
We usually serve the Swedish table style (our long island is perfect for it), but I also like to create a small decorial area there, with larger branches decorated with Easter eggs and all food in beautiful dishes. In this way, no one has to keep asking for things to go, although there can be some gambling!
For the card cards, I inspired the product-thematic basic tables I saw online. I wrote names on white beaches and reduced a variety of colorful carrots with a diagonal slot, so the cards would become straight. Always keep Plain white cards On hand – they often come in convenient, even to stick to the island on the island.
I think Easter is a great time for pastel experimentation. This year I love yellow, purple, green, blue and elephant. I used my usual silver accessories To replenish the candidate!
Hosting advice, which Chris over the years is diverse, is that guests bring the parties while the host provides a main course. We usually take care of hamBut a few years Chris prefers everything to cook everything. I’ll share the whole menu next week!
