Mob: The Old Country was supposed to have its first big reveal on Thursday The Game Awards show, but it looks like footage of the planned trailer has made its way online. A short video shows some of the action as well as the game’s release date.
A leaked trailer began making the rounds early Thursday, showing 12 seconds of what appears to be in-game cinematics rather than gameplay. At the end of the video, a summer 2025 release date was revealed, which makes for interesting timing since publisher 2K Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, is set to release GTA VI in the fall of 2025.

2K Games did not comment on the leak, but the company did fast on Ks about the game on Thursday afternoon.
“There is much more to the story… The omerta will be broken tonight at #TheGameAwards“, the announcement reads.

Although the trailer doesn’t show any part of the game, it does confirm the time period of the game, which is Sicily in the 1900s. This is evident with turn-of-the-century weapons and horses.
Mafia: The Old Country was first shown on Gamescom in August. Hanger 13 will develop the game for 2K Games and will publish it for PC, PS5 and Xbox series of consoles. Old Country will be the fourth game in the mafia franchise, which started in 2002.
