This is not the usual lounge. A gallery of 4,200 square meters takes place as a series of courier vignettes, collaborative workspaces and installations inviting guests to experience design as in the gland, narrative and current dialogue. The Vinal approached the gallery as a fluid medium, not on the display – spaces that work as a clay, carved product and finished color. The rejection of the idea of a traditional exhibition salon, replaced something closer to an artificial installation in which everyday objects rise and saw from unexpected corners. The chairs were hung on hooks in relation to Shacker traditions and furniture workshops. Testines are treated as textiles and mounted on walls like tapestry. Bold graphics and florists become powerful visual anchors, not floor coverings.
“It’s so wonderful, when you start working on the project, because there’s so much trust. And there were no parameters,” Vinas shares. “They gave me the space to work – and I loved it – because they didn’t say” Push Product “. It was more like, just what you want in space. I could think outside …”
Lighting – often the most phylinal from design categories – transformed into something that can be rolled, even kinetic. Visitors met on Braided Ariel Zuckerman, who resemble globes suspended in a net and light glass boards evoking Lollipops or floating suns. The color is the dominant thread in the installation of the Vinas. Mustard Iellows, Blush Pinks, and the earthy red red replaced space while deep crimson accents, stresses the entire, enhanced tension via contrast. The effect is uniform – entering the gallery feels like to get into abstraction, and each product is carefully selected to extend the palette and cause emotion.

How Gers explains, “there is something very emotional in physical space with design. There is no replacement for human connection that happens when you live with great design.”
The designer in the stay program ensures that the gallery will remain constantly developing the source of inspiration. Each new installation will bring a fresh perspective, reflecting different ETOS of its guest designer. Vinas’ imaginative, installation that is raised in the color sets the bar high, but the possibilities are infinite.
