Long Ride On Beautiful Morning – BionicOldGui

Yesterday I headed south on rural roads east of Morgan Hill through San Martin to Gilroy. I was lying down with electrical assistance. The wind was light so I managed to maintain an average speed of just under 20 mph, an exhilaratingly fast pace. This covered 27 miles in just over 90 minutes. I enjoyed looking at our green hills from the recent rain.

We are lucky that our vegetation here in the north is not so dry. Our friends down south weren’t so lucky, it’s much drier down there, and they had strong Santa Ana winds bringing warm dry air that made the fires worse. I don’t know anyone personally who has lost a home, but we think of those who have. The firefighters from here came down to help, just like the SoCal firefighters have helped us in the past. We are all in this together.
