Actress Phoebe Buffet (61) said that she and her famous friends – Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and late Matthew Perry — met for dinner only once after the show ended, but before theirs Television reunion 2021.
“We only had dinner once, the six of us, after the show ended,” Kudrow said on the Tuesday, Dec. 10, episode of Modern family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson‘s “Dinner’s On Me” Podcast. (via Ski News).
According to Kudrow, the dinner took place about a decade after the hit NBC series ended in 2004, and the stars “didn’t miss a beat.”

Alas, the next time all the famous friends got together was in 2021 to film HBO Max Friends: Reunionin which they revisited their famous characters and stories.
Little did the cast — or the fans — know it would be the last time we’d see all six stars together. Perry died at the age of 54 from acute effects of ketamine in October 2023.
“I have to say, it shook us,” Kudrow told Ferguson on Tuesday’s podcast. “He said it wouldn’t be a surprise, but it would be a shock, and that was true. So clever, it’s true – it wasn’t a surprise, but it was a shock.”
“It was a big shock,” she added.
Speaking with Dak Shepard on her “Photography Expert” podcast on Monday, Dec. 9, Kudrow said she takes some comfort in the fact that Perry was happy at the time of his death.
Matthew Perry has openly battled addiction and other health issues while starring on Friends, and his co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer have been by his side every step of the way, showing their support both publicly and privately. “This is going to sound strange. “I’m more comforted that he was happy the day he died,” she said. “He must die happy.” And for me it was a gift.”
Kudrov also shared that he connection between the six Friends stars it didn’t just happen overnight.
The Friends cast has reminisced about the series — and their favorite episodes — multiple times since the series ended in 2004. “Here’s what I love, when I watch an episode, I usually remember where we broke up during a scene,” Jennifer Aniston told co-star Lizzy Kudrow during a joint interview with Variety in June (…)
“It was great, we really hit it off,” she said. “We also worked hard to be friends.” That six-way relationship required work and we did it.”
“If someone said or did something, it didn’t become too big, because it was, ‘Can I talk to you?’ — usually not me, because I had to learn to be, ‘Can I talk to you about something?’ because I didn’t know that was allowed!” Kudrov explained. “But I saw Courteney, Jennifer and Matt model it really well. Communicating with respect.”
