Light, warm and open to lake gatherings

Located in the woods of the island on Lake Champlain, Vermont, this 1955. “Seasonal camp” is a place where the empty Nesesters Lance and Divn Trigg go to family and friends. But a couple, who primarily lives in Florida, did not feel that the kitchen is ready for fun. These are makers for aging, abundance of pine lining, green linoleum floors, blue-green-green cated plates and a peninsula that interrupted the flow of traffic.

Wishing a brighter and more open cooking and entertainment space, homeowners watched photos of inspiration on Huzz. Then they hired Britt Mee and Builder Bill Wockenfuss designer to help them understand their vision. The remodeling team removed the adjustment of the peninsula and replaced the old staircase from the kitchen with a spiral version. These moves added 141 square feet and created room for extended cabin and a new island with sitting and storage. The island of the cold blue-green base, white extent and the walls on the greige plate establish a light and a casual, but a careful look. Offished pine pines and new rustic pin floors add huge warmth. Upgraded devices and bar cells on the island ensure that entertainers remain well with lots of food and beverages.
