Key measurements to make the most of the bathroom

In other customer schedules, the tub can be opposite the sink and toilet, as shown here. The international housing code (IRC) requires at least 21 inches (53 centimeters) of the clear space in front of the toilet, so be sure that you will allow this dimension – and more than the minimum if possible if possible.

It is not uncommon to encounter configurations that do not meet the minimum standards in older structures. But if you are rearranged, be sure that in your project you will keep in mind the toilth dimensions, so you have an adequate space.

There are standard size toilets and elongated configuration. The elongated type will expand into the room for an additional 2 to 3 inches (5 to 8 centimeters).
