James Kennedy’s girlfriend Allie Lover talks about being arrested for domestic violence

James Kennedygirl, Alli Leveraddressed his arrest for misdemeanor domestic violence.

“Thank you to everyone who reached out with love and support and checked in on me,” Levber, 28, wrote via Instagram Story on Saturday, December 14. “I’m fine and I’m taking the time I need.” I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.”

Us Weekly the police confirmed on Thursday, December 12 were shipped after they were received a call about an argument between a man and a woman. Authorities saw Kennedy, 32, allegedly grabbing the woman on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Officers who responded to the scene did not see any visible injuries and he was released on $20,000 bail.

Kennedy’s lawyers released their own statement about Friday’s incident, which read: “We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations made against James by the Burbank Police Department. We understand that there were no injuries and we hope that, after a careful review, city prosecutors will decide not to file formal charges.

Levber previously denied his fellow Bravo stars Teddy Mellencamp and Tamra Judge‘s claim they are testified that Kennedy was physically abused according to Levber. Scheana Shay she repeated the accusations after calling out Lewber on a February episode of her “Scheananigans” podcast.

“I think it was two years ago (after the MTV Movie and TV Awards). And (Tamra) said they were going to the afterparty at TomTom. “And during that car ride, there was an argument between two people in the car, because of which she and Teddy had to get out of the car,” explained Shay (38). “They had to separate the two people in the car.” And (they) went on to suggest that James was involved, and now there are rumors that Teddy may have hinted at a fight between you and James.

Lever rule out assumptions that Kennedy “physically hurt” or “assaulted” her.

“It’s crazy to me that it’s the most asked question (for me). It makes me really sad, because no, I’m fine. That never happened. “There was no physical altercation,” Shay said at the time. “Yes, we were in the car together.” I thought we were having fun. We had fun. But then James and I had an argument, but there was no physical attack. I wasn’t bleeding, and they didn’t have to get out of the car and separate us. So that didn’t happen. That’s all I’ll say about it.”

Levber continued: “We are fine. We are happy. He works on himself. I know from the past that he has anger issues. So I get it. But I just want people to know that I’m good and that I’m safe and that I love him.”

According to Levber, Kennedy was drinking during the 2022 disagreement (Kennedy confirmed in Season 11 Vanderpump Rules that he is currently sober afterwards past substance abuse problems.)

“He was still drinking.” Yes, we were all drunk in the back of the car. Yeah, that’s true,” Levber explained. “But nothing physically happened. I mean, we went to TomTom. We showed up at TomTom and we had fun. It was, like, a good night. I think it wasn’t, like, a moment or, like, a night where we were like, ‘Okay, no drinking great’.”

Lewber was grateful when Kennedy decided to cut alcohol out of his lifeadding: “We would fight when we drank. I would drink and choose (fights). When you drink so much in those environments, it’s not great. That’s not really us. That’s an example of why he shouldn’t drink.”

Later in the episode, Shay admitted that they were Kennedy’s ex-girlfriends Rachel “Raquel” Lewis and Kristen Doute previously caused speculation that Kennedy may have been physically abused towards them during their relationships. Shai later wanted to give Levber a “safe space” to talk about whatever was on her mind.

“Thank you. Because I didn’t know,” Levber replied. “I wonder, do I go on my Instagram to say, ‘I’m good, guys?’ Like, I don’t know how to navigate things like this. And this is something that is very serious. And I appreciate everyone who is concerned about me. But I want everyone to know that I’m good.”

Kennedy’s ups and downs were at the center more seasons Vanderpump Rules. After first appearing in Season 3, Kennedy’s off-kilter romance with Dout, 41, took a turn for the worse when she slapped Kennedy at Scheana’s wedding to Mike Shai In 2014, in the second season, Kennedy spat on Dout’s door. (Doute, for her part, reacted to Kennedy’s arrest by writing “Finally” on her Instagram story.)

Meanwhile, Lewis, 29, hinted that there are more details about her breakup with Kennedy that she has not previously shared with the public. On a January episode of her “Rachel Goes Rogue” podcast, Leviss recalled filming a scene for season 10 of Vanderpump Rules where she began to hyperventilate while discussing their breakup and hinted that she left out a lot of information.

“I told them the story of how I was planning to break up with James and how I was going to leave the ring box on the counter when he got back from Europe,” she recalls. “All my things would be gone and I felt that would be the safest way to break up with him.” I didn’t go into the details of why we broke up and why I can’t be with him anymore.

Lewis responded to Kennedy’s arrest through her legal team

“We are aware of the recent arrest of James Kennedy for domestic violence.” This news, unfortunately, is not surprising,” her lawyers Mark Geragos and Brian Freedmanhe said Us Weekly in a statement on Thursday.

Kennedy has never publicly addressed Dought and Lewis’ claims.
