There are many ways to appear a color scheme when you decorate the room in your home to choose the colors in the fabric store that attracts your eye, your favorite color or simply wing is eclectic color mix.
In this post, I share another way to choose a color scheme for a room, the one you may not consider.
I used all the above methods to choose color schemes for all rooms in the homes I lived while I did not live along the lake coast. It was when I started choosing colors and decor at all for my living room on a new one on me.
Many of you are writing to me with all kinds of questions and choices of room scheme for a room or entire home is popular.
So I thought I would share how I chose the colors for my home, but especially my living room.
I like to call my decorating style for the whole house, White and lumber. Nature is my guide, along with the stated state of mind.
I like to keep the base of the daily room of the neutral color, so I can change the color of the accent when the season changes.
For my spring and summer living room I applied in color colors I see a sliding glass door in the room … grass, trees, lake and sky.
I want the interior of the house to blend the outside, so they feel like one.
Over the years, I touched the decor, I add to the room every season. I will never be minimalist, but I found that I like the look and feel less decor in space.
I was happy with everything I put in the room so far for spring and summer seasons, but I couldn’t find an artistic phase or inspiration to make my wall art to fed over Mantel for summer.
You remember and I He painted the canvas last spring for a room and then another the canvas to be used in autumn.
I wanted to use the spring canvas I made last year, but I found that it was too bothered because I was looking for a more serenity artwork. It turns out that the bold picture looked great above the bed in the room I call Beautiful guestroom.
The space above Mantel is naked because it reduces the decor for rest in December. A few weeks did not find inspiration when looking for links to ask in my weekly style scouting posts.
I got the idea of creating a canvas using the colors and the view in front of my door after I see this photo on the interior design website. See the canvas above the truck?
I have all the whites in my living room, seeing the colors of water and heaven in art to grab my empty canvas I had in the attic decor.
I like the colors of art and an object in the design room of the interior, but not how they took a picture of, sky and clouds. I wanted something serene. I also needed a shorter and longer canvas to fit into the area above my Manlant.
I’m not a fine artist and I really have no desire to be one. I painted this canvas because I couldn’t find anything to buy I liked it or that wasn’t $ 1,000.
So I was searching online for a work of art with the subject of the secondary water and heaven to get an idea of what I could color I would start me.
I found the watercolor I liked and printed a copy on the printer paper and used it as my color guide and a copy perspective.
To learn how I paint from pieces of inspirationSee this post, Art is simple, painting your canvas.
Once I painted the canvas to the pleasure I add Molding Pine grid to frame it. I gained it Barnwood color and pinned it around the canvas to frame it as if done in the interior designer’s room.
I am very happy with how my art came out. I try not to be too critical of my amateur skills. 🙂
It’s nice to finally have colorful art above Mantel. I’m glad I just didn’t buy anything to fill the space, I get the look I was after some time, but it was worth understanding the right to my vision for the room.
It is waiting to find right of the art work, also saved my money because I had all the stock I had to paint a canvas from the remnants of delivery from previous projects.
I have pretty Several payments I once had hanging in this room When we first moved to the house. I held them in my attic decor All these years know that one day I will find another use for them.
For warmer monthly summer, I always rearrange the furniture for the living room. Since we don’t need a fireplace during the summer, I move the sofa in front of her and I set two backs where Sofa was across the sliding glass door, so when we sit in them the lake is in full.
I usually remove the carpet of dark surfaces on the top of the seabar and will most likely make it really starts to welcome the season on the day of the summer.
I ripped around my house to find blue, white and green accents to use.
I had most of these accents for years. Some are very old like a small burlwood box that my father made in his class of high school trade.
The new blue ceramic vase I bought at a local furniture shop. Blue sofas pillows are from the target a few years ago, and the blue throw is Vintage Ikea.
Me Posted in connection with these drawers and use it almost everyday.
I’m sure I’ll find a few more decorative items to add to the room and we’ll rearrange things over time. It is a fun and living entertainment, letting the room develop that it would be better for the way you live in space.
So, the next time you want to decorate the room and look for inspiration to help you choose a color scheme to start, remember to look outside the window or glass door and let nature be your guide.
