How Amy Robach, TJ Holmes worked after ‘Guilt’ and ‘Shame’ into romance


Amy Rob and TJ Holmes they are embracing the next chapter of their relationship now that they are under one roof.

Doc Robach, 51, moved to the Holmes residence so her 21-year-old daughter Ava can live in her place temporarily, the couple are enjoying their new set-up.

“Amy and TJ are focused on creating a healthy living situation together,” a source exclusively shares in the magazine’s latest issue Us Weekly.

Although the source notes that the “next step” for Robach and Holmes would be to tie the knot, the two are in no rush to say “I do.” Robach, says the insider, “feels it will last if they set healthy boundaries and communicate.”

“Amy would like to work on their communication skills,” the source continued. “She believes that’s the secret to a healthy and lasting relationship.”

Robach and Holmes recently opened their own plans to exchange vows. Although the duo are not engaged, Robach explained on the Monday, Dec. 9 episode of their podcast, “Amy & TJ,” that she wants to tie the knot in the fall. Holmes, for his part, noted that he might see him and Robach as husband and wife “sooner rather than later.”

“I say that based on my exclusive conversations with the bride,” he said. “I say that because we don’t try to figure things out.” We’re not trying to see if we want to be together. We’re not trying to do a trial run to see if this thing can work. That’s not where we are.”

Holmes said a “decision has been made” about him and Robach growing old together.

“When we get married, it will be a byproduct of what’s going on.” And it’s coming,” he explained before Robach added: “We’ve talked about marriage. We didn’t talk about the wedding. And there is a difference between the two.”

Robach and Holmes sparked romance speculation when they were spotted hanging out outside the office in November 2022. At the time, Robach was married to Andrew Shue and Holmes was married to Marilee Fiebig. Robach and Shu share daughters Ava and Annalize, 18, while Holmes and Fiebig are parents to daughter Sabine, 11. (Holmes also shares daughter Brianna and son Jaden with ex-wife Amy Pherson.)

Both Robach and Holmes filed for divorce after their relationship was discovered and have since maintained that their marriages were over before they became romantically involved. Shue and Fiebig, meanwhile, began dating in late 2023. red carpet debut at the World AIDS Day 2024 Football Gala earlier this month.
