Hardik Pandya’s all-round brilliance led Baroda to a 41-run win over Bengal. Pandia and Lukman Merivala combined for six wickets to dominate Bengal’s batting. Baroda scored a competitive 172 to bowl out Bengal for 131 in 18 overs.

In reply, Bengal’s chase became difficult with Lukman Merivala’s fiery spell. He dismissed opener Karan Lal, skipper Sudeep Kumar Gharamu and Ritwik Chatterjee. Luqman’s spell left Bengal at 31/3.

Bengal’s collapse and Hardik’s influence

Hardik Pandya inflict additional damage on Bengal’s three-wicket haul. He fired Ritwik Roy Chowdhury and Mohammed Shami. Despite the fight itself, Shahbaz Ahmed, Bengal were bowled out for just 131 in 18 overs. Shahbaz’s crucial 55 runs off 36 balls did not take Bengal into the lead.
