The Golden Bachelorette alum Michael Stevens still looking for love after not finding the One in Joan Vassos.
“I got to meet some of the women.” The Golden BachelorMichael (65) said on the Tuesday, December 10, episode “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast. “I had a really good time.” I messaged a few of them from time to time, just on a friendly basis, and also got a response from them.”
Michael explained that his friend Golden Bachelorette competitors and women from Gerry Turner‘s season of The Golden Bachelor were “all sharing something really unique,” which led to their bonding. (Jerry proposed Teresa Nist, and the couple tied the knot earlier this year before announcing their divorce in April.)
“There’s a couple that might be a good match for me,” Michael teased. “We will have to see.” I have met some great ladies so far.”
Susan Knowles and Kathy Swartz didn’t find love with Jerry Turner, but that doesn’t mean they’re ruled out dating Bachelor Nation. While promoting their podcast, “Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour,” The Golden Bachelor alums told Us Weekly that they’re interested in continuing to dump Golden Bachelor Joan Vasos after she finds The One. Michael noted that he had not met Nancy Hulkoverwho appeared on Joan’s season to give her advice. (Joan at the end accepted the proposal from Chock Chapple during the season 1 finale, which aired in November.)
“I think all the guys would like to meet Nancy, to be honest with you,” he said. “She’s a beautiful woman and she seems really down to earth, so that’s intriguing.”
After talking about Nancy, Michael added that he has one former contestant in mind. “You know who’s a really nice lady, who’s very sweet and I think she’s kind of underrated, is kathy (black)“, he said. “Very responsive and easy to talk to and bright.” We also texted back and forth a little bit.”
Michael noticed that he was sitting next to Sylvia Robledo at the After the Final Rose special in November, whom he called “very sweet.” He also “enjoyed” the conversation Sandra Mason.

As for whether he was romantically involved, Michael explained, “It was a party with a bunch of people, so it’s hard to see if there’s any chemistry at this point. It’s a little soon.”
As he continues to search for love, Michael has discovered that he will “absolutely” be something Golden spinoff of Bachelor in Paradise — but he has one condition. “I want my shirt,” he said. “Either that or I went to the gym for six months.” Just live there, I’ll just move in.”
Joking aside, Michael said he thinks a spin-off “would be great,” adding, “I don’t think they’re going to do it, but I wish they did.” I would be all in.”
