A terrifying burglary at the home of the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow perhaps confirmed a major development in his personal life.
According to the police report he obtained TMZ Sportsa burglary call was made to Burrow’s home in Ohio around 8:14 p.m. ET on Monday, December 9, while Burrow and the Bengals were in Texas to play the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.
Report names Sports Illustrated model Olivia Ponton as the individual who was on scene at Burrow’s home when deputies arrived.
Ponton told authorities she noticed a “broken bedroom window” and that one room had been “ransacked.”
The model called her mother, Dianewho then called 911.
“Someone is trying to break into the house right now,” Ponton’s mother told the dispatcher. “My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She stays there. He’s at a football game.”
Barrow, 28, and Ponton have not spoken publicly about their relationship status, although rumors of the duo have been swirling since the summer.
“He’s wondering what to do, should he hide or should he go outside,” continued Ponton’s mother, who said the intruder was inside the house.
Ponton also made a separate call to 911, telling the dispatcher, “Someone broke into my house.
“It’s, like, completely messed up,” she added.
In the police report, Ponton was listed as “employed by Mr. Burrow.” At the scene, Ponton gave officers “non-detailed items of what items may have been missing.”
A the photo has been shared from VLVT-Nevs 5’s Karin Johnson on Tuesday, December 10, showed one of the windows on Barrow’s house boarded up.
Police said the investigation into the burglary is still ongoing and would not speculate if the incident is related to recent robberies at the homes of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
The residence of Mahomes, 29, and his wife in Missouri, Brittany Mahomes, was on target in the early morning hours of October 6. Police were called to the home on a breaking/breaking and entering call. According to the police report, there were no signs of forced entry.
The next evening, on October 7, the home of Kelce, 35, in Leawood, Kansas similarly broken into. Police reported $20,000 was taken and the back door was broken.
At the time of the break-in at Kelce’s home, the Chiefs were playing the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
The watch that was stolen from Kelce’s house was found in Providence, Rhode Island in November.
Investigations into the robberies at the homes of Kelce and Mahomes are still ongoing.
