Danish shares fall in late trade; OMKS Copenhagen 20 down 2.58% by Investing.com



Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses across the sector led declines.

At the close in Copenhagen, it fell 2.58%.

The best performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/SB (CSE: ), which rose 3.08% or 360.00 points to trade at 12,050.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/SA (CSE: ) added 2.66% or 300.00 points to end at 11,560.00 and NKT Holding (CSE: ) was up 1.57% or 8.00 points to 517.50 points in late trade.

The worst are the sessions Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: ), which traded down 3.89% or 30.50 points to trade at 754.00 at the close. Genmab (CSE: ) declined 3.33% or 49.50 points to end at 1,438.50 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ) traded down 3.04% or 24.50 points to 780.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered rising stocks on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 64, with 23 ending unchanged.

Shares of Genmab (CSE: ) fell to a three-year low; down 3.33% or 49.50 to 1,438.50.

Crude oil for January delivery rose 1.31% or 0.92 to $70.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for February delivery rose 1.05% or 0.77 to $74.18 a barrel, while the February gold futures contract fell 1.09% or 29.41 to 2,679 $.99 per ounce.

USD/DKK fell 0.27% to 7.11, while EUR/DKK was unchanged by 0.00% to 7.46.

US dollar index futures rose 0.04% to 106.69.
