Comfort, character and color in one’s own designer

Interior designer in Seattle Harmony Weihs and her husband have four children between them, of which three still live at home. They wanted a house where they could be comfortable and casual while spending time together. After being saved enough, they found very narrow real estate market and limited four bedroom house options in school children.

However, the designer knew it could turn any house in a comfortable and functional home for the family. “It has been seven years since I managed to own and rearrange the home, and I was so excited to repeat that,” she says. In the house, they eventually acted as a designer and general contractor, adding character and changed the floor plan to receive an occasional way to meet family to cook, eat, look at each other, and reimbursed each other.
