There were several reasons that this pair of Massachusetts bought their colonial home style Shingle 2004. But the kitchen was not one of them. The space was a good size and included an area for breakfast, but a small island without sitting, a cramped device for adjusting the appliance and dated finishes did not give these food foods and the welcome cuisine they dreamed of.

Parents of the three who are now bred sons, the couple were finally ready to make serious changes. They hired the designer Jodi Swartz to help improve function and style. While the total appearance is mostly the same, double-tone custom cabinets in classical white color and Robin-eggs blue for expansively island give the kitchen fresh look.
