CNET called 13-inch M3 MacBook Air total best laptop 2024which means it’s already pretty good value even at full price. And right now they are all color variants $200 off Amazonwhich drops the starting price to $899. It’s not the biggest discount on this list, but it’s a great deal considering this is the model that suits most people.

The best deals on the M4 MacBook
The M4 MacBook Pro is available in two sizes: 14-inch and 16-inch screens. All M4 chips have a Gen 2, 16-core neural cluster that is slightly faster than the previous generation. They are also designed to support the early stages Apple Intelligence (AI) features. Discounts are still small, but you can get the base black variant for more than $100. Please note that this model will not arrive in time for Christmas.
You can also upgrade to a model with the M4 Pro chip. The base configuration has a 12-core processor, a 512GB SSD and a whopping 28GB of RAM. Both colors are on sale at B&H Photo, but the space black variant is slightly cheaper.
The M4 Max version also comes in two sizes: 14 and 16 inches. The M4 Max chip has up to 16 CPU cores and 40 GPU cores, making it a gamer’s paradise. This version also includes Thunderbolt 5. The M4 Max MacBook Pro is Apple’s most powerful option. Currently, only the Space Black variant is on sale. Note that this model may arrive after Christmas, depending on where you are.
The best deals on the M3 MacBook
The latest M3 MacBook Air was reviewed in March CNET’s Joshua Goldman, who noted that the graphics performance is a significant upgrade over the previous M2 MacBook Air. Right now, you can get all four color variants for nearly $200 off. Note that this model will arrive after Christmas.
If you want the same portability with a bigger screen, Amazon is offering the same $199 discount on all four color variants of the 15-inch model. This model will arrive after Christmas.
Previous gen M3 MacBook Pro it still has a lot to offer, including a stunning display and powerful hardware. And right now, you can get the smaller 14-inch model for more than $400. You will find basic configuration currently on sale for $1,349, but shop at B&H Photo and you can upgrade to 16GB of RAM for the same price.
If you want the previous-gen Pro with a bigger screen, the 16-inch model starts at $2,299, though only the Space Black variant is on sale.
The best deals on the M2 MacBook
This MacBook Air it has a 15.3-inch display powered by Apple’s M2 chip and 8GB of RAM. It also has a Touch ID sensor, two USB-C/Thunderbolt ports, a MagSafe charger and 18 hours of battery life. Best Buy is offering a real $300 discount, and you can save even more when you trade in your old laptop, too.
Now two generations old, the M2 MacBook Pro is getting a little hard to find in stock. It is equipped with a 14-inch screen, an M2 Pro chip and a 512 GB SSD. You can pick up the base configuration for less than $1,700 right now, though frankly, you’d be better off upgrading to the M3 model, which is now both newer and cheaper.
