The design does not always have to roll or never see. Sometimes the return to the basics can unlock new features. In the world of modular furniture, this means you return to the most important form of all: box. For Broklin- and Visconsin Elements StudioThis humble form keeps endless potential. That’s all it needs to be – it’s ready to become so much more. By accepting simplicity and versatility, the studio remagtered the box. From that basis, Arca He was born.
Founded Ishac BertranProduct Designer and Product Engineer based in New York from Barcelona and Jonathan probablyBuilder of furniture with Wisconsin background technology, Studio element connecting precision with practicality. Instead of engineering a complex system to achieve multifunction, the duo leaned into what in the box already works best: it is rush, it is stored together. The Arca is on that logic in that logic, calling users to reconfigure and adjust each unit to suit their space and needs.
The Assembly is refreshing simple – no tool required. Five modules are available: box in three colored (natural, green and red), one top and doubled width top. Hold the handbag hold pieces in line, creating a solid structure that is easy to separate when it is time to move or store. Does your home call on the nightstand, shelves, benches or a simple storage cube, the system develops right next to you.
Produced in small series, each unit of Arca reflects the commitment of elements of quality studies and occupation. The pieces are made of high-quality plywood from team – natural material that brings its character in each unit. Subtle markings, variations of shades and occasional patches – used to cover natural uncertainty in veneer – is part of what each piece makes it unique. Mounting with regional craftsmen and limiting production, the studio ensures that each box does not care about attention deserves. It is a slower, intentional approach – one that supports local economies, while designers carefully participate in every step.
In the world of excessive solutions and constant pressure to stand out, Arca is a quiet reminder that simply can still be smart – even a transformative. With just a box, the elements of the studio are calling more creatively about how they live and empower them to change as it changes and is designed to adapt and rooted in everyday, Arca makes space for what is important without complicating the process.
Currently, Arca is available in one size box, two peak lengths and conceivedly curious trio finishes. To learn more about elements studio or store, visit elements.com.
