Civilian is selected for design 19,000 square feet of open officesLocated in 25 Kent in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The designers predicted the space that was elevated, but still welcome. It is a seat that increases productivity and encourages the staff of young creatives to reimburse the physical office after the remote operation – with an emphasis on cooperation. “We didn’t want it a typical corporate office, but a reflection of their energy and culture” Notes Ksenia Kagner, co-founder of civilian citizens.
The reception area sets the calling tone, with free traverin part with rounded edges. The beige tiles decorate exposed columns, while strategically set acoustic treatments minimize distracting noise. In the main work area, instead of assigned tables, employees tend to tasks in communal tables longer than 25 feet sitting 20 people on each side, together with sales and linear lighting. This arrangement supports a dynamic environment and shaping the interaction between teams.
Many of the furniture are adapted to things with gentle curves that resonate organic forms. Ten upholsted nodes and private telephone cabins limit the scene lines and are ideal for heads, directed to work. Executive surgeries function as common shit goods that contain soft sitting and interrupting areas of different sizes. These areas democratize access and still allow privacy as needed. Salon on the side of the window overlooking the eastern river and Skyline Manhattan serves as the main place of gathering staff and visitors.
The colors of the company’s signatures are warm pink and colorful orange, which are on packaging and printed collateral. Instead of emphasizing the highlighted wall with one of the distribution shades, the team chose a sophisticated earthen range of beige, gray, stone, and cream shades to serve as a background for lively shades and graphics. The presumption of plush fabrics, linden linden and delicate colored surfaces call the research. The white oak brings the heat that the combustible elements. “There was a focus on the texture and quality of the surface as a contrast, which really made products and displays are pointed out,” says civilian co-founder Nicko Elliott.
Flexible planning and introduction of thoughtful design moments throughout all importance within. The seat shows the unique identity of the company while optimizing space and performance. It also now doubles as an event space in the evening, which complains the holistic vision of studies for the client. “The office is not just a place where people come to watch and work, became a platform for Amik as a hair industry,” Kagner adds.
