A warm organic look in green, white and wood

Tired of their boring and basic basic bathroom, this Austin, Texas couple knew where to turn for help. Designer Cameron Getter had already helped them choose furniture for their main living spaces and update their guest bathroom, so they used her to update their kitchen and master bath as well.

The homeowners, who are parents to a young daughter, were looking for a soothing retreat with more warmth and an organic, spa-like feel. Getter removed the existing components, eliminated the tub (they have it elsewhere in the house), and relocated and enlarged the shower area. She also straightened some corner walls. With the major design moves done, she introduced a warmer color palette with glazed aloe green ceramic tile, a custom white oak vanity, and brass accents. Terrazzo-look porcelain tiles for the floor and shower area with low curbs add visual energy and interest.
