TikTok personality and influential mom Hannah Hiatt He is being investigated by police following a report from Child Protective Services.
According to PeopleHyatt, known online as “Nurse Hannah,” was the subject of “numerous reports through Child Protective Services and the police” after she posted a video of her two-year-old son James appearing to be “freaking out and hiding his face as his dad walks towards to him” via TikTok. The Ogden, Utah Police Department spoke with the agency on Tuesday, December 10. (The since-deleted video was uploaded last month.)
The police department told the outlet that “there is an open, active investigation” into Hyatt, who first gained notoriety after discovering 17 dirty diapers lying around her home in October, and that “a detective (has) been assigned to the case .”
Us Weekly has reached out to Ogden’s Utah police for comment.
The outlet said the investigation came as a result of “numerous” reports to authorities after the video was released. Before it was taken down, TikTok attracted hundreds of comments detailing fans’ concerns for the toddlers.
The next video Hayat uploaded on November 30 began by paying attention to her original video. “The fact that I even have to deal with this right now is kind of crazy,” the influencer said.
Hannah, who often posts about her “lazy husband,” Bracton Hyattand has attracted more than 437,000 TikTok followers as a result, he continued: “If you know me in real life, this whole lazy husband thing, it’s satire.”
She then offered followers more details about her husband’s personality, describing him as “the sweetest, most beautiful, kindest, loving, nurturing father in the whole world.”
“He (Braxton) plays on the floor with James, like 90 percent of the day,” Hannah added. “If that man isn’t laughing, having fun, teasing him, playing with him, whatever, then there’s something wrong because the two of them have the strongest bond … that I know of anyone else.”
Hannah’s initial video sparked a second video, released just a day later on December 1, that dismissed fans’ comparisons to the former social media influencer Ruby Frankewho was convicted in February of four counts of aggravated child abuse. “The fact that I’m even being compared to Ruby Franke right now is absolutely comical,” Hannah said in another video. “It’s funny, really.” We live in a world … where people won’t turn anything into something.”
Comments are disabled on the following two videos.
As for Hyatt’s “17 Diapers” video from October, the social media star said People at a time when she didn’t anticipate that the post would resonate the way it did. “I just took out my phone and took a funny video. I didn’t think it would be controversial or attention-grabbing frankly.”
