“The worst-case scenario at this point is that his heart is beating so fast that it starts to affect his blood pressure, making him what we call hemodynamically unstable,” Procter continued. “If we don’t get to the bottom of what’s going on with the scars, the heartbeat, we’re going to cancel the surgery.”

Scott, who came into Procter first at 596 pounds, was visibly emotional about the potential setback, clutching the sides of his bed and appearing to cry.
His mom was sitting next to him, doing her best to calm him down.
“Don’t overreact. Relax. Breathe,” she told him. “It’s your nerves, your anxiety, your ADHD.”
In a separate confessional, Scott wondered if it was really that simple.
“I’m starting to wonder, ‘Is it just nerves or is this something else that could affect whether Dr. Proctor goes ahead with the surgery or not?'” he asked.
Although Scott is relatively new to the series, which primarily follows best friends In the rim, Meghanand Ashely through their weight loss journeys, he has already made waves among fans and with his mates.
